This year’s tea will be held on Friday 27 February 2015 in the Oriel Suite at the rear of the Restaurant of the Museum. A light tea will be served and we are fortunate that actress and writer Sharon Morgan has again agreed to join us and to give recitations and readings appropriate to the patronal day of St David. Educated at Cardiff University before training as a stage actress, Sharon is well known to TV audiences in Wales both in documentary programmes and productions such as Torchwood, Casualty, Coronation Street, and Pobl y Cwm. Admission will be strictly by prior application only, the charge being £10 per person. In view of the expected demand, attendance will be confined to members of the Friends only. In the interests of fairness a ballot will be held should the numbers of those applying exceed the limited accommodation available in the Oriel Suite. Friends will be advised of the success or otherwise of their application in good time. If you wish to attend please complete the slip below, returning it with your cheque and a stamped self-addressed envelope, to Jane Gagg at 15 Llandennis Avenue, Cyncoed, Cardiff CF23 6JD. Tel: 02920 752338. |
