This year’s event to mark the day of Wales’s Patron Saint will be held on Friday 24 February 2017 at 3.00 pm in the Oriel Suite at the back of the Restaurant of the Museum. A light tea will be served and as a result of encouraging comment following last year’s presentation a group of Friends led by singer/violinist Meurig Williams will give a recital of music reflecting our Welsh heritage. Admission will be strictly by prior application only, the charge being £12 per person. In view of the expected demand, attendance will be confined to members of the Friends only. In the interests of fairness a ballot will be held should the numbers of those applying exceed the limited accommodation available in the Oriel Suite. Friends will be advised of the success or otherwise of their application in good time. If you wish to attend please complete the slip below, returning it with your cheque and a stamped self-addressed envelope, to Jane Gagg at 15 Llandennis Avenue, Cyncoed, Cardiff CF23 6JD. Tel: 02920 752338. |
