It
is one hundred and fifty years since the Anglo-Welsh artist Frank
Brangwyn was born. The vivid murals in the entrance hall in the
National Museum bear witness and are a testimony to his talent. We are commemorating the anniversary of his birth with a talk by a recognised expert on the artist, Dr. Libby Horner. This will give us an opportunity to find out more about this artist who was so well regarded in his lifetime. Dr. Horner is a freelance historian, curator, film producer, lecturer and writer. She is also the world’s leading authority on Frank Brangwyn and is currently producing a catalogue of all his works. She will be travelling from Cambridge to give this talk. The admission charge, to include post-lecture coffee and biscuits in the Oriel Suite, is £8 for tickets ordered by Friends in advance, and £10 at the door. |
